It’s a great con, lots of cosplay and lots of the same stuff you’d see at San Diego Comic Con or NYCC, just without the cost and the unholy crush of people. You can move around. It’s not a tiny con…it’s 35K or more. But it’s not stupidly huge either. It’s juuuuust right.

I’ll be signing CARNIEPUNK with Jaye Wells, Nicole Peeler, and Mark Henry at Murder by the Book in Houston, Texas, at 4:30! I’ll sign other stuff too, of course, and so will the other authors—they all have wonderful UF series—but we are excited about this anthology of dark carnival tales, and there will be swag there too from other authors in the anthology. This is really the launch of THE DARWIN ELEVATOR by Jason M. Hough, but Jason is cool and letting me hang out with him. You don’t know Jason yet, but you will.
