Gadzooks, I’ve not written a blog post in many months! I have some news to share, however, so let’s go:
I’ll be making my first-ever visit to New Brunswick in July. Westminster Bookmark in Fredericton has graciously agreed to host me from 5-6 pm on July 22, and I hope if you’re anywhere near (maybe PEI?) you can manage to make it out there and see me. They will have many of my books for sale and I hope you’ll buy something from them, but you are also welcome to bring stuff from home and put me to work, because that’s why I’m coming, to see folks I haven’t had a chance to see before!
And heck, if you can’t make it to the event in person, contact Westminster Bookmark ahead of time (like now) and special order something for me to sign while I’m in the store! They’ll ship it to you once I’ve come through and signed it for you.
I’ll be at two conventions in the fall: Can*Con in Ottawa in October, and Hal-Con in Halifax in November. Come on out to a convention in a country where it’s still safe to travel!
And if you missed it somehow, I’ve released a collection of Oberon short stories called Oberon’s Bathtime Stories. You can find it in print, ebook, and audio everywhere—even your library if you ask for it!—and if you’d like a signed copy, I can hook you up through Horned Lark Press so long as you’re in Canada or the US. That link to Horned Lark Press, by the way, is nifty because it also will provide links to a bunch of different retailers—just scroll down a bit and expand the link menu for the format you prefer.
The audiobook, narrated by Luke Daniels, also includes some bonus material: The Dead Flea Scrolls, Oberon’s religion for dogs, and there’s a blooper reel too at the end which is pretty hilarious. Here’s a sample, and again, you can grab it in a ton of places like Libro.fm or Chirp or Spotify, and can request it at your library too. I hope y’all enjoy! And I hope to see you somewhere in Canada this year!
